What does having the Charter Standard Award actually mean?

It shows that our club has set a standard. As a Charter Club we can use the Three Lions logo and if we use the Charter badge we have demonstrated that we meet the minimum standards set by the Football Association. More importantly, parents know that their children will
receive quality coaching in a safe, fun environment. The FA Charter Standard programme will make a big difference to raising standards in football at grassroots level.

So how does our club achieve the FA Charter Standard Award?
We have qualified coaches (one per team), our club must have codes of conduct and club rules and a child protection policy.
